I got this idea the other day when shopping. I went home and finally organized all of our daughter's hairclips on a ribbon tied to the back of her bedroom door. It works wonders! I am no longer running around frantically trying to find 2 red matching clips, etc.

You can also make one of these useful things with an empty picture frame (remove glass and backing). String ribbon behind the opening. And, add a few tacks on the frame itself to catch the headbands and hairbands.
