Healthy Filling Ideas For Easter Eggs

Our children are young (under 6), so I do not like filling their baskets on Easter morning with candies, chocolates, and more candies. Instead, I fill their eggs with healthier snacks. After all, this does end up being their breakfast. Some are really cute, like the mini bunny shaped graham crackers made by Annie's Homegrown. I also add a few eggs with chocolates or candies, but just a few!
Here are some ideas:

- Cheerios
- Annie's Homegrown bunny-shaped graham crackers or cheese crackers
- Goldfish
- Pieces of dried fruit: apple pieces etc.
- Fresh fruit: apple pieces, blueberries, mandarin orange pieces
- Mini marshmallows

Suzanne, you've inspired me to do the same this year. Our Easter bunny hides the baskets in the morning so the first thing the kids want to do in the morning is look for their Easter baskets. And, I end up begging unsuccessfully them to have a little breakfast first.
